31 August 2008 Caching McKean

Labor Day weekend deserves a big caching day. This day was a good one. It was cool enough for the geodogs to make their return to the caching trail. We packed them up and headed fro McKean County.

We started off with a nice walk on the North Country Trail and made a quick stop at the ANF's junk yard to visit a huge ash tree. Since we're both tree huggers, Ali did the honors while I snapped the picture. After winding our way through a number of caches in the area, we finally stopped at a nice rock formation. It was a strenuous hike to the two caches in the area and a tough climb through some really large rocks. The dogs were beat. We were beat, but we had fun.
