18 July 2013 Miami and Erie Canal

It was travel time. I had found a multi on each day of this trip so I decided to see if I could find one more on the way home. After stopping for a couple caches in the woods, I looked for a multi and spotted an old 2002 hide near my normal travel path. The hide took me on a short walk along the Miami an Erie Canal and a stop at Lock 44. Other than a few nesting swallows along the way, the trail and park was empty on the warm afternoon. The canal boat replica is a beauty, but it wasn't open for business. If it were, I might have gone for a slow ride.
